About us
The Integrated Health Academy was founded on 1st January 2007 with the purpose of enhancing the quality of health for many patients often unable to locate or benefit from the various approaches comprising the current UK health service.
Public dissatisfaction with the medical profession includes a sense of betrayal following the Alder Hay and Shipman enquiries and these have ushered in the need for bold safe alternatives or complementary forms to medicine. One such approach is that of Integrative health care.
The course is a highly experiential series of innovative and participative learning encounters for well-qualified, experienced practitioners already using a wide range of complementary health care approaches.
Of necessity, the foundations of the course reflect the profound fluctuations and paradigm shifts that herald the beginning of a new 'integrative approach' to health care, increasingly managed by well-informed patients themselves.
The course has been developed by Dr Eric Asher, Danny Williams and Derrick Edwards. Danielle Steinberg is responsible for making this course available to you.
